Daniel Flores will move from the field to the bench and begin his first season as part of Corban’s coaching staff this season. Following one stellar year for the Warriors, Daniel will join Coach Mayben and his staff.
Daniel played one season for the Warriors in 2008, as he was named All-Cascade Collegiate Conference and NAIA All-Region I as an infielder. Daniel led Corban in at-bats (151), hits (52), doubles (13), home runs (4), runs batted in (38), total bases (79), slugging percentage (.523), hit by pitch (4), sacrifice flies (3), and assists (123).
Prior to his one-year stint at Corban, Daniel spent three years at The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, California. While playing for the Mustangs, Daniel appeared in 141 games, batted .237, collected 104 hits in 438 at-bats, registered 25 doubles, two triples, and six home runs, while leading the team twice in assists in 2005 (116) and 2006 (135) and finishing second in 2007 with 117.
Daniel is currently single and resides in Salem.
