PORTLAND, Ore.
– Senior Erin Sailors (Anchorage, Alaska), junior Rebecca Franke (Pendleton, Ore.), and sophomore Jessie Jones (Gladstone, Ore.) were named as part of the 2009 All-Cascade Collegiate Conference Team, while sophomore Jennifer Kollaer (Albany, Ore.) received honorable mention recognition Wednesday when the team was announced by the Portland-based conference office.

Following a record-breaking season for each player, the trio of Sailors, Franke, and Jones were named as part of the 19-player team thanks to their performances throughout the '09 season.

Sailors, a four-year right-handed pitcher for Corban, was the ace of the Warriors' staff all year thanks to a 9-9 win-loss record that included a school-record 155 strikeouts. Her 2.81 Earned Run Average (ERA) this season is the second lowest in program history for a single-season, while she became the first pitcher in Warrior history to surpass the 500-strikeout plateau for a career. This season, Sailors appeared in 21 games (all starts) and registered a team-high 14 complete games with four shutouts. In 119.2 innings of work, Sailors led the team and conference with an average of 1.30 strikeouts per inning.

Career-wise, Sailors finished an amazing stint donning the navy and gold as the program's all-time leader in six categories. In the circle, Sailors appeared in a school-record 85 games that included a record-setting 74 starts for the Warriors. Pitching a program-best 429.2 innings during her career, Sailors amassed a school-record 515 strikeouts en route to pitching her way to a school-record seven shutouts over her four seasons as a Warrior. Along with her school records, Sailors also finished her career within the Top 5 in four other categories that includes wins (2nd with 24), complete games (2nd with 46), saves (2nd with 2), and Earned Run Average (3rd with 4.44).

Franke, a transfer from Blue Mountain Community College, set a single-season school-record with 12 doubles this season to go along with her team-high nine home runs. The 5-foot-4 outfielder also tied for the team-high in hits with 47 to set a new single-season record. Offensively, Franke led the Warriors in eight categories including at-bats (126), runs scored (34), hits (47), doubles (12), home runs (9), runs batted in (37), total bases (86), and slugging percentage (.683). Besides her single-season records for hits and doubles, Franke also surpassed the one-year mark for RBI and runs scored.

Jones, a second-year player from Gladstone High School, joins Sailors as a repeat selection this season after tying for the team-lead in hits with 47 and registering a new single-season school-record with 18 stolen bases. After leading the team in batting with an average of .405, Jones also had the highest on-base percentage among all Warriors at .457 and registered a team-best 66 assists defensively.

Kollaer, who is making her first appearance on the all-conference team following a prep career at West Albany High School, finished fourth on the team in hitting with an average of .336 and completed the season as the squad's runner-up in eight other offensive categories. Kollaer was second on the team in at-bats (122), runs scored (30), hits (41), doubles (11), home runs (7), runs batted in (30), total bases (73), and slugging percentage (.598).

Corban concluded its '09 campaign with 19 wins, which was one shy of tying the program's single-season record that was set during the inaugural 2004 season. The Warriors finished fifth in the conference thanks to a win-loss record of 7-13.

In just two seasons at the helm, head coach Nathan Ohta has registered 34 victories to become the all-time winningest coach in Warrior softball history.
