Eight Student-Athletes Named Academic All-CCC

Since in the inception of the Academic All-CCC Team in 2007, Corban had placed 19 basketball student-athletes on the team over the past three seasons.
PORTLAND, Ore. – As announced Monday by the conference office, eight Corban student-athletes have been named Academic All-Conference recipients in the sports of men's and women's basketball.

To earn recognition as a Cascade Collegiate Conference scholar-athlete, a student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 and sophomore standing.

Corban had the third highest total of student-athletes listed behind Northwest Christian and Oregon Tech's conference-high 11 student-athletes.

Among the recipients, six are members of the women's basketball team and two are part of the men's basketball team.

The list of honorees are (in alphabetical order by last name):

     * Becky Buhler (Clackamas, Ore.) – Women's Basketball
     * Rachel Harter (Grass Valley, Calif.) – Women's Basketball
     * Ashlee Jensen (Yuba City, Calif.) – Women's Basketball
     * Nash Keene (Aumsville, Ore.) – Men's Basketball
     * Ian Logan (Aloha, Ore.) – Men's Basketball
     * Jennesa Miller (Mica, Wash.) – Women's Basketball
     * Kayla Shaughnessy (Camano Island, Wash.) – Women's Basketball
     * Katie Steigleman (Eugene, Ore.) – Women's Basketball
