FACILITIES LOCATION
The Athletic Training room is located inside the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center across from the men's locker room. Corban's Athletic Training room offers student-athletes quality medical care, which includes therapeutic modalities, exercise equipment, whirl pool treatment, ice and heat. The Athletic Training room has five treatment tables, an elliptical Pre-Cor and stationary bike, along with taping stations with rehabilitation areas. Tony Walther begins his fifth year as part of the Athletic Training staff and first as head athletic trainer at Corban College.
Prior to Corban, Walther served as a Student Athletic Trainer for the baseball and men’s soccer teams while also helping with other sports at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. While a student at George Fox, Walther was named the Health & Human Performance Student of the Year at George Fox and also played varsity basketball for the university.
Walther passed the National Athletic Trainers Association Certification exam on his first attempt, which is quite an accomplishment.
Walther earned his Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training and pre-health teaching from George Fox University in 2005.
Walther, who is single, currently resides in Salem, Oregon. He is also an avid golfer, and a huge University of North Carolina fan.

Jenny Garrard begins her second year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Corban College.
Garrard, a 2005 graduate of Oregon State University with a degree in Exercise & Sports Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training, worked with Corban student-athletes and the Warriors’ track & field program during the spring season on an hourly basis.
Along with her part-time work at Corban last spring, Garrard was also employed at BPM Physical Therapy in Salem and is in the process of obtaining her master’s degree from Oregon State University. This past spring, Garrard was awarded an academic scholarship by the Northwest Athletic Trainer’s Association that she has used towards her master’s degree.
Garrard will be working closely with Corban’s cross country and track & field programs, while also teaching some classes within the Human Performance Department.
Garrard currently resides in Salem with her husband, James. The couple attends Salem First Baptist Church where Garrard is part of the choir and worship team.

Sally Page begins her first year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Corban College.
A former collegiate soccer player at both Azusa Pacific University and George Fox University, Page comes to Corban with three years of athletic training experience that includes one year as the head athletic trainer at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory in Milwaukie, Oregon.
Prior to her time at La Salle, Page worked as an athletic training intern at Nike Sports Medicine in Beaverton and Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego. Page also volunteered at the annual Les Schwab Bowl in 2008 & 2009, while working with Portland State University as a volunteer athletic trainer for the Vikings' football team during spring practice in 2009.
Page graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from George Fox University and was NATA certified in June of 2009. Page currently resides with her husband, Chris, in Tualatin. Page's husband competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics for England in the 400 meter relay. The couple currently attends Trinity Covenant Church in Salem.
